Kids Manners

Things I Like:

Children who say, "Please and Thank you" and mean it! Parents who do not let their kids run through stores and play. Little girls who put their shoes on to go outside, without being reminded. Parents who take their children to do new and interesting things instead of letting the television babysit. Children who listen to their parents, the first time. Parents who mean what they say and say what they mean. Just my two cents Smile

Welcome spring and welcome Easter. Happy chocolate bunnies to you and yours. It has been a busy week and I have family events to blog about and post on the online calendar.  I need to check the dates and details, but here is a teaser...

April 17th is Party for the Planet at Living Desert. It is also the revealing of a special Earth Day song to be performed by Dusty Blue Socks at the new Kids Korner consignment shop in Palm Desert..

April 28th Party at Baskin Robbins with 31cents ice cream.. Party on the Patio! There will be face-painting and Dusty Blue Socks may lead the kids in a sing-along session.

May 1st (this date I really must double check), there will be an art extravaganza fundraiser at the Montessori School on Warner Trail in Palm Desert. Datura Art Studios is going all out with projects for kids.

I sincerely promise, I will post more information on these events as soon as I can. DKD is growing and keeps me very busy.  Even though you are enjoying the April issue, my thoughts are on the next! May & June will be one DKD issue; a combination. We will have events for both months inside, so do not worry!

It was truly a pleasure meeting so many DKD friends at the Animal Samaritans Walk and the Palm Desert Health & Safety Fair. Thanks for stopping by and introducing yourself. And, thanks to the gal who introduced herself as one of my Twitter followers. I see my Tweets are not ignored Laughing
