(d) Barbara Sinatra Children's Center

Barbara Sinatra Children's Center provides counseling for victims of physical, sexual and emotional child abuse. They also focus on prevention, community education and breaking the cycle of generational abuse. Services are provided regardless of a family's ability to pay.



(d) Betty Ford Center

Alcoholism and drug addiction are a family disease, so we treat the whole family, including the kids. We help 7-12 year-old children from families suffering from addiction. No child is turned away for lack of funds. Scholarships are available.

All Children’s Programs are open to the public. Parents do not have to be patients at the Betty Ford Center in order for their children to participate in the Children's Program.

The Boys & Girls Club of Palm Springs is a nonprofit organization offering supervised after school, summer, and winter programs to the youth of the greater Palm Springs, California area. Membership fees are based on a sliding scale and scholarships are available to qualified families.

Very active support group for autistic spectrum kids, siblings and parents.  Lots of activities throughout the valley that are exclusive to the needs of children with special needs. On the website, you will find a link to download a fabulous Resource Guide.


(i) Support Groups: Dyslexia Association of Riverside County
Volunteer organization of parents and professionals caring about literacy. The focus is to benefit individuals, adults, students, educators, and professionals dealing with dyslexia and learning disabilities. Meetings are usually held in Riverside.  They have workshops, forums and speakers. Kids can meet other kids with similar learning differences!

Serving Riverside County and beyond, FAFCV offers support, friendship
